That's 5 days "normal" eating, and 2 days restricted calorie eating.

The Jane Plan offers a range of 70 different calorie reduced meals for the 2 days of restricted calorie intake.

They claim to have sold more than 16 million meals to more than 65,000 customers.

The Jane Plan is provided in association with Woman Magazine, which is read by more than a million adults.

The company, Janeplan Ltd is UK based, and was incorporated in 2010.

Trustpilot.com lists 954 reviews, of which 76% were 5 out of 5 (excellent) and 9% were 1 out of 5 (bad).

The Jane Plan provides an alternative diet for members of the Jane Plan.

But we wonder what will happen, when members stop using the Jane Plan.

Will they return to that old eating pattern?

What Does the Jane Plan Cost?

The Jane Plan currently costs up to £359 for a month.

The Jane Plan states that it includes your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks for 28 days each month.

The Jane Plan also includes weekly support from a nutritionist on a rolling subscription.

The monthly cost becomes cheaper the longer you use it, which is phrased as the more weight you want to lose.

For people wanting to use the Jane Plan for 6 months, which they suggest is to lose over 3 stone, the cost reduces to £249 per month.

The cost of the Jane Plan depends on your subscription and how much you eat.

How does the Jane Plan Work? Calorie Restriction

The meals provided in the Jane Plan aim to limit calorie intake.

For women, the Jane Plan limits calorie intake to 1,200.

For men, the Jane Plan limits calorie intake to 1,400.

The plan provides all the food you should eat.

The problem is what happens when you eat outside the plan and when you finish the plan?

Will you be eating like a slim version of yourself after the plan ends?

On the Jane Plan, unlike other 5:2 diets, there’s no calorie counting, fasting or skipping meals. Members just have to only eat the low-sugar foods provided by the Jane Plan.
