The Jane Plan diet is an adaptation of the 5:2 diet.
That's 5 days "normal" eating, and 2 days restricted calorie eating.
The Jane Plan offers a range of 70 different calorie reduced meals for the 2 days of restricted calorie intake.
They claim to have sold more than 16 million meals to more than 65,000 customers.
The Jane Plan is provided in association with Woman Magazine, which is read by more than a million adults.
The company, Janeplan Ltd is UK based, and was incorporated in 2010.
Trustpilot.com lists 954 reviews, of which 76% were 5 out of 5 (excellent) and 9% were 1 out of 5 (bad).
The Jane Plan provides an alternative diet for members of the Jane Plan.

The 5:2 diet is based on the 2-Day Diet by Michelle Harvie and Tony Howell, which is the original, clinically proven intermittent diet.

On the Jane Plan, unlike other 5:2 diets, there’s no calorie counting, fasting or skipping meals. Members simply follow the low-carb, low-sugar plan for two days a week, then for the rest of the week eat normally but sensibly with the help of the healthy eating guidelines.
