What Is Bach Rescue Remedy for Anxiety and Panic

Does Bach Rescue Remedy help with Anxiety?

Bach Rescue Remedy "comfort and assurance" is sold by UK pharmacies to help briefly reduce anxiety and panic attacks.

It used to be called Nelson’s Rescue Remedy and is often recognised by the bright yellow label.

It was first produced in 1930, so has been around a long time.

Many people use Bach Rescue Remedy, although the medical community does not fully understand how it works.

It might be the placebo effect, where the power of belief creates psychological and neurological changes.

Long Term Relief From Anxiety And Panic Attacks

Back Rescue Remedy will only help for a short period after you take it.

Why not retrain your subconscious brain for long term relaxation instead?

Studies show that guided visualisation and hypnotherapy can quickly help to release anxiety and panic attacks.

You could become more calm, relaxed and happy.

These are rapid solutions that can help in the long term.

The charity Anxiety UK suggests hypnotherapy can work twice as fast as talking therapies.

Ingredients of Rescue Remedy are a grape alcohol solution with flower extracts of:

It contains negligible amounts of fat, saturates, protein and salt.

Does Rescue Remedy actually work?

Scientific research into whether Rescue Remedy works appears to be limited and uncertain.

That's after it has been widely used for nearly 100 years!

However, there is also a severe lack of formal research for the psychological therapies we use with our happy clients, such as hypnotherapy, Havening, BWRT, NLP and EFT.

In 2007, research by University of Miami, tested 53 people with anxiety, concluding that "it may be effective in reducing high levels of situational anxiety".

Conversely, a 2002 study from University of Exeter concluded the remedy "had no specific effects in treating anxiety under these trial conditions" with 21 subjects

In contrast, a 2019 "meta-analysis" (a formal study of multiple medical reports), found that anxiety patients who received hypnotherapy improved more than 84% of control patients.

What is the Difference between Bach Rescue Remedy and CBD?

One key difference between Bach Rescue Remedy and CBD is that Bach Rescue Remedy contains alcohol.

This only becomes a real issue if taking an exceptionally large amount over a short period of time.

What is the different between Bach Rescue Remedy and Hypnotherapy?

Bach Rescue Remedy is designed to be a short term coping tool, that may help to briefly suppress anxiety.

Hypnotherapy is designed to establish a rapid calming affect, as well as retaining the brain for longer term calmness.

The charity Anxiety UK states that hypnotherapy is expected to help twice as fast as talking therapies for helping with anxiety.
